When I got my first job programming we used UCSD Pascal as our development language. It was outstanding. That that was in the days of Babbage’s and Software etc and our products were sold nationally in those stores. I went back to school and continued my education. I used Turbo Pascal in all my classes for my projects. We had a project in a software engineering class and my team was the only team to get their project done because we had used Turbo Pascal. Fond memories of coding in an excellent language. My respects to him and condolences on his passing.
